Chicken Karahi:

Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg chicken (cut into pieces)
- 3 medium tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 medium onoons (sliced)
- 2-3 green chilies (sliced)
- 1 table spoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup oil or ghee
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoom coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon gram masala
- Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Method / Steps:
- Heat oil in a wok (karahi).
- Add onion and fry until light goiden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1 minute.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until they turn white.
- Add chopped tomatoes, red chili, turmeric, coriander powder, and salt.
- Cover and cook until chicken is tender and tomatoes from a gravy.
- Add green chilies and gram masala, cook for 5 more minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or roti.
Serving Tips:
- You can add a little yogurt for richer gravy.
- Best served immediately after cooking for full flavor
